OOC
I’m going to let this blog sit for a while. I’ll come back to it later, but until then, I bid this blog farewell while I gather my thoughts.
I promised myself I wouldn’t let this blog die, and I intend to keep it that way.

OOC: Put yourself in my shoes. I’m normally as polite as I can manage and I try to stay nice and perhaps a bit passive aggressive when I’m angry. I felt a leaving post was a nice way to show that I was very close to punching out my computer screen.
I apologize for being out of line with my emotions, but I’m most definitely not sorry for the tone that post was written with.
OOC: I don’t mean to be rude, I really don’t, but it was suggested a few times that they were specifically ignoring me. I can understand nervousness, I was quite nervous myself, but I’m afraid that there is a breaking point.
You’re conclusion involves me giving up, which I won’t let that happen. And we are just as good as you! You sicken me!
Oh, but wouldn’t it just be so much easier if you gave up?
“Just as good as you?” Please, don’t flatter me. I’m hardly good. If anything, I’m what you’d most likely call evil.
I sicken you? That burns, Hibiya. I thought that you may have at least tolerated me. Oh, well.
How am I going to tolerate someone like you, who watches people die just because she’s bored?! I can’t tolerate someone like that, ever! And if you expect me to give up, then you’re dead wrong!
[ and he goes up to her, getting close to her and simply giving Kouri a dangerous glare. ]
You may have my best friend’s face, but you definitely are not her!
I didn’t expect you to give up. What kind of hero would you be if you did that?
[Kouri gives a half-faked / half-real look of surprise when Hibiya got close to her.]
Of course I’m not her. I’m myself.
[At this, she puts her hands to her face, squishing her cheeks together and making an overall stupid look before stopping the nonsense.]
This is technically my face, too, you know. I have to live with mine like everyone else.
…Don’t ignore what I just said. I’m not a fan of suspicion.
[It’s beyond her limit of irascibility, having that girl here as every moment passes. They’re barely acquainted, and yet, that person sitting right before her, seemingly priding herself as an individual of despot, is worthy enough of having the occupation as a personal aggravator already.
Kouri’s obnoxious actions following her own statement doesn’t do the mood any justice, either. Clenching her teeth, she shoved her hands in her front pocket, looking straight at her newly arrived intruder whilst leaning somewhat coolly against a bookshelf.
It creaked slightly against Kido’s weight, chipping away the atmosphere; nonetheless, the mood was nothing akin to giddy and light-hearted. Rather, it was uncomfortably tense for the green-haired.]That aside, though. Do you… need anything?
[Kido’s inquiry comes out a bit sharper than she’d like; strange, as she was usually the best at remaining outwardadly stable. Keeping her calm, especially in the presence of someone who emitted such a dangerous aura, was a difficult thing to achieve.]
Ah. And what about me, exactly, acquires suspicion?
[Kouri watched in barely contained amusement as the girl across the room tried to play it cool. She may have just stuck out her tongue and made a face, but it was gone in a second, too fast for one to truly comprehend what she’d just pulled.
She could sense the atmosphere of the room, though she didn’t do anything about it. Like she cared if her ‘conversational partner’ was comfortable with her uninvited presence.
At her question, she nearly cracked a smile. Though she didn’t, it was clear from her eyes that she was extremely entertained by the other girl’s reactions.]
I don’t need anything, not really. I just wanted to have a pleasant conversation is all.
Perhaps you just misplaced them.
Don’t look at me.That’s impossible. I placed them on th—
[Realisation finally dawns on her that there’s a weird blue girl in her room right now. She’s always been a bit slow to notice things, but—
Who the hell is that?
Girls didn’t just appear out of nowhere in the real world— or this dimension, at least, where the cruel tendrils of reality seemed to bind Kido at every possible corner.
This was… a bit awkward for a NEET, to say the least. What was she supposed to say back?]
Uh…
[Her red eyes glance towards the girl in a look of nervousness and accusation, although the pair quickly shift focus towards a small nook elsewhere. Kido didn’t even want her here— a normal reaction, but nonetheless, that kid was unwanted. Their milliseconds of eye contact, and her austere way of speaking was already enough more than enough for a first impression. It’s not like Kido ever took visitors in stride, (being alone at home was far more pleasant, friends were always at another tome) but this was the epitome of unwelcome guests.
Why was this particular guest categorised as unwelcome? Something… it was just this small something about this new presence that made her safety levels go bit awry as the clock ticked on. She hated it, wanted this sudden burst of emotion inside of her to die— it was such a familiar feeling; Kido couldn’t put her finger on it, but this presence… This person…
How malicious.]
…Get out of my room.
Placed them where? Perhaps I can help you find them.
[Kouri completely ignored the obvious order to leave and instead sat down in a chair rather casually. She was extremely interested to see how this conversation would play out.
She crossed her legs, looking all for the world like she was some sort of queen and knew it. Of course, this was more of a subconscious movement than one made purposefully.]
I can’t find my limited edition figure collection…
Perhaps you just misplaced them.
Don’t look at me.
